RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF APPROVING.,�2diEMi AN DU ' OF AGREE? ENT
FOR EXPENDITURE OF 1/4 CENT GAS TAX ALLOCATED FOR STATE HIGHWAYS
WHEREAS, the :Mate of California, through its. Depart-
ment of Public Works, Division of Highways, has presented

a/memorandum of agreement in accordance with a project
statement submitted by the city for expenditure of the 1/4
cent gas tax for the fiscal year allocated for State
highways in the City of lid- ; and
WHEREAS, the city council has heard read said agree-
ment in full and is familiar with the contents thereof;
THEREFORE, be it resolved by the city council of the
City .of A' that said agreement for ex-
penditure of the 1/4 cent gas tax allocated for State high-
ways be and the same is hereby approved, and the Mayor and
the City Clerk are directed to sign the same on behalf of
said city.

Gentlemen :
Attached, in triplicate, is second supplemental
memorandum of agreement covering the proposed expend-
iture of 1/4 cent gas tax funds for State highways
accruing to the City of Redlands during the fiscal year
ending June 70, 1'48.
This agreement has been drawn up in accordance
with the project statement recently -pubmitted by the
city. If the agreement, as drawn up, is satisfactory
to the city, it Is requested that the original and,
duplicate copies be executed and returned to this office
for further handling. The last copy may be retained for
city files.
Please accompany the original and duplicate copies
with two certified copies of the resolution of the City
Council approving the agreement. We are enclosing four
copies of a suggested form of resolution and certificate
which you may use. Two copies should be filled in and
returned to this office with tie agreement and two copies
may be retained fpr city files.
