HomeMy WebLinkAbout3657_CCv0001.pdf RESOLUTION NO. 3657 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS FOR ADOPTION OF AMENDMENT NO. 23-B TO THE GENERAL PLAN WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Redlands has pre- pared an amendment to the General Plan and adopted such amendment in R.P.C. Resolution No. 522, after holding a public hearing upon notice in accordance with the Government Code, State of California; and WHEREAS, Resolution No. 522, a copy of which is attached hereto, has been certified to the City Council of the City of Redlands; and WHEREAS, on the 8th day of March, 1980, notice of Public Hearing was published in the Redlands Daily Facts; and WHEREAS, on the 18th day of March, 1980 , the City Council has held a duly advertised public hearing concerned with the proposed amendment to the said General Plan; and WHEREAS, following said Public Hearing, the City Council declares that the proposed amendment is in the interest of the public health, safety and general welfare; and WHEREAS , all of the provisions of the Government Code relating to the amendment of a general plan have been complied with, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Redlands: That the amendment to the General Plan adopted by the Planning Commission in Resolution No. 522 shall be adopted as follows: AMENDMENT NO. 23-B TO THE GENERAL PLAN OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS 1. Change the designation from Park to Hillside Residential for approximately 47 acres of property located on the south side of Mill Creek Road, approximately 1, 000 feet east of Julian Drive East. NO. 522 ' 7 RESOLUTION FOR THE ADOP`T'ION OF AMENDMENT NO. 23--B TO THE GENERAL PLAN OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS W H E R E A S on this 26th day of February, 1980, the Planning Commission of the City of Redlands finds : 1. That the area located on the south side of Mill. Creek Road, approximately 1, 000 ' east of Julian Drive East, is now des- ignated for PARK purposes . 2. That studies conducted by the Department indicate that por- tions of the subject area would be appropriate for hillside residential uses. 3. On the 15th day of February, 1980, notice of public hearing was published in the Redlands Daily Facts . 4. On the 26th day of February, 1980 , the Planning Commission held a duly advertised public hearing concerning the pro- posed Amendment to the General Plan. 5. Following said public hearing the Planning Commission de- clares that the proposed Amendment is in the interest of the public health, safety, and general welfare. 6 . All provisions of the California Government Code relating to the Amendment of the General Plan have been complied with. d 0 1q, T H E R E F O R E, B E I T R E S O L V E D: A. Pursuant to the provisions of Section 65353 to 65353 , both inclusive, of the California Government Code, the Planning Commission hereby adopts on this 26th day of February, 1980, Amendment No. 23-B to the General Plan of the City of Redlands. B. That a map showing the above referenced change is on file in the City of Redlands bearing the title "Amendment No. 23-B to the General Plan of the City of Redlands" is hereby adopted. C. That the Planning Commission hereby recommends that the City Council of the City of Redlands, following the re- quired public hearing, approve and adopt said Amendment No. 23--B. D. That a certified copy of the report and of this resolu- tion shall be transmitted to the City Council . .
