A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS
FOR ADOPTION OF ABIE24LIAE1911 MO. 19 TID THE GENERAL PLAN
WHEREAS the Planning Commission of the City of Redlands has pre-
pared an amendment to the General Plan and adopted such amendment in
Resolution R.P.C. No. 400 after holding a public hearing upon notice in
accordance with the Gover=ment Code of the State of California; and
WHEREAS Resolution No. 400, a copy of which is attached hereto,
has been certified to the City Council of the City of Redlands; and
WHEREAS on the lst _ day o ,March arch--, 1974, notice of
Public Hearing was published in the Redlands Daily Facts; and
WHEREAS on this 19th day of M a r c-h 1974, the City
Council has held a duly advertised public nearing concerned with the
proposed amendment to said General Plan; and
WHEREAS following said Public Hearing the City Council declares
that the proposed amendment is in the interest of the public health,
safety and general welfare; and
WHEREAS all of the provisions of the Government Code relating to
the amendment of a general plan have been camplied with,,
NnW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City
of Redlands;
That the amendment to the General Plan adopted by the Planning
Commission in Resolution No. 400 shall be adopted as follows:
At4END_Ma,TT -NO. 19 TO THE
GENERAL PLAN OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS
1. That the area northeast of the Tennessee Freeway, south
of Lugonia Avenue, and 660 feet west of Texas Street, is
now designated for medium density residential and low
density residential purposes.
24 That studies conducted by the Planning Department indicate
that it would be necessary and desirable to delete the
medium density residential and add urban services.
ADOPTED, SIGNED AND APPROVED this 19th day of March, 1974.
