HomeMy WebLinkAbout3580_CCv0001.pdf RESOLUTION NO. 3580 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS FOR ADOPTION OF AMENDMENT NO. 24 TO THE GENERAL PLAN WHEREAS , the Planning Commission of the City of Redlands has prepared an amendment to the General Plan and adopted such amend- ment in R.P.C. Resolution No. 500, after holding a public hearing upon notice in accordance with the Government Code, State of California; and WHEREAS, R.P.C. Resolution No. 500, a copy of which is attached hereto, has been certified to the City Council of the City of Redlands; and WHEREAS, on the 23rd day of June, 1979, a notice of Public Hearing was published in the Redlands Daily Facts; and WHEREAS, on the 3rd day of July, 1979, the City Council has held a duly advertised public hearing concerned with the proposed amendment to the said General Plan; and WHEREAS, following said Public Hearing the City Council declares that the proposed amendment is in the interest of the public health, safety and general welfare; and WHEREAS, all of the provisions of the Government Code relating to the amendment of a general plan have been complied with, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the city of Redlands : That the amendment to the General Plan adopted by the Planning Commission in R.P.C. Resolution No. 500 shall be adopted as follows : AMENDMENT NO. 24 TO THE GENERAL PLAN OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS That the Land Use Designation for property located on the east side of New York Street, between Redlands Boulevard on the north and the Southern Pacific Railroad Tracks on the south, be changed from Industrial-Urban Services to Administrative Professional , ADOPTED, SIGNED AND APPROVED this 3rd day of July, 1979. City Attorney RESOLUTION RPC NO. 500 RESOLUTION FOR TDE ADOPTION Or AM I� DMFNT NO. 24 TO THE GENERAL PLAN OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS W H E R E A S on this 8th day of May 1979, the Planning Commission of . the City of Redlands finds: 1. That the area located on the east side of New York Street, between Redlands Boulevard on - the north and the Southern Pacific Railroad Tracks on the south is designated for industrial-urban services and park uses. 2. That studies conducted by the Planning Departmont indicate that a more appropriate designation for the subject area would he a combination of administrative professional, general commercial and park uses. 3, on the 27th day of April, 1.979 Notice of Public Hearing was published in the Redland�4y'Daily Facts, 4. On the Sth day of May, 1979 the Planning Coynamission held a duly advertised public hearing concerning the proposed amendment to the General Plan. 5. Following said public hearing the Planning Commission declares that the proposed amendment is in the interest of the public health, safety, and general welfare. 6. All provisions of the California Government Code relating to the amendimtent of the General Plan have been complied with. N 0 W, T H E R E F 0 R E, B F I T R E S' O L V E D- A. Pursuant to the provisions of Sections 65351 to 65353, both ,inclusive, of the California Governrient Code, the Planning Commission hereby adopts on this 8th day of May, 1.979 Amendment No. 24 to the General Plan of the City of Redlands. B. That a map showing the above mentioned changes on file in the City of Redlands and bearing the title "Amend- rtent No. 24 to the General Plan of the City of Redlandsft is hereby adopted. C. That the Planning Com-riission hereby recommends that the Citv Council of the City of Redlands, followinq the required public hearing, approve and adopt said A-mendrient No. 24. D. That a certified copy of this resolution and related material hereby adopted by said co=ission shall be transmitted to the City Council.
