RESOLUTION NO . 2459
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS FOR ADOPTION
OF AA.ENDMENT NO . 10 TO THE GENERAL PLAN
WHEREAS the Planning Commission of the City of Redlands has pre-
pared an amendment to the General Plann and adopted such amendment in
Resolution R.P. C. No. 241 after holding a public hearing upon notice
in accordance with the Government Code of the State of California; and
WHEREAS Resolution No . 241 , a copy of which is attached hereto,
has been certified to the City Council of the City of Redlands ; and
WHEREAS on the 21st day of June , 1965 , notice of
Public Hearing was published in the Redlands Daily Facts ; and
WHEREAS on this 6th day of July , 1965, the City
Council has held a duly advertised public hearing concerned with the
proposed amendment to said General Plan; and
WHEREAS following said Public Hearing the City Council declares
that the proposed amendment is in the interest of the public health,
safety and general welfare ; and
WHEREAS all of the provisions of the Government Code relating to
the amendment of a general plan have been complied with
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Redlands ;
That the amendment to the General Plan adopted by the Planning
Commission in Resolution No . 241 shall, be adopted as follows :
AMENDMENT NO. 10 TO THE
GENERAL PLAN OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS
1 . The following street and/or portions of streets be designated as
a secondary highway; South Eureka. Street from Brookside Avenge
to its intersection with Vine Street ; Vine Street for its full
length; Sixth Street from Olive Avenue to its intersection with
Vine Street .
2. The designation of South Eureka Street as a secondary highway
from Olive Avenue to its intersection with Vine Street be deleted.
ADOPTED, SIGNED AND APPROVED this 6th day of, duly _ , 1965.
