A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS FOR
ADOPTION OF AMENDMENT NO. 23-A TO THE GENERAL PLAN
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Redlands has pre-
pared an amendment to the General Plan and adopted such amendment in
R.P.C. Resolution No. 521, after holding a public hearing upon notice
in accordance with the Government Code, State of California; and
WHEREAS, Resolution No. 521 , a copy of which is attached hereto,
has been certified to the City Council of the City of Redlands; and
WHEREAS, on the 23rd day of August, 1980 , notice of Public Hearing
was published in the Redlands Daily Facts; and
WHEREAS, on the 2nd day of September, 1980 , the City Council has
held a duly advertised public hearing concerned with the proposed amend-
ment to the said General Plan; and
WHEREAS, following said Public Hearing, the City Council declares
that the proposed amendment is in the interest of the public health,
safety and general welfare; and
WHEREAS, all of the provisions of the Government Code relating to
the amendment of a general plan have been complied with,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Redlands :
That the amendment to the General Plan adopted by the Planning
Commission in Resolution No. 521 shall be adopted as follows :
AMENDMENT NO. 23-A TO THE
GENERAL PLAN OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS
1. Change the designation from Hillside Residential to
Administrative and Professional Offices for property
located on the east and west sides of Ford Street,
south of Oak Street and the I--I0 Freeway.
2 . Said Amendment to become effective upon final adoption
of a Specific Plan for the subject area by Ordinance
of the City of Redlands.
ADOPTED, SIGNED AND APPROVED this 2nd day of September, 1980 .
