HomeMy WebLinkAbout4507_CCv0001.pdf RESOLUTION NO. 4507 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS FOR ADOPTION OF AMENDMENT NO. 41 TO THE GENERAL PLAN (EAST VALLEY CORRIDOR STUDY) AND RESCINDING RESOLUTION NO. 4434 WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Redlands has prepared an amendment to the General Plan and adopted such amendment in R.P.C. Resolution No. 732 after holding public hearings upon notice in accordance with the Government Code of the State of California; and WHEREAS, R.P.C. Resolution No. 732 has been re-certified to the City Council of the City of Redlands; and WHEREAS, on the 5th day of November , 1988, and on the 6th day of May, 1989, Notices of Public Hearing were published in the Redlands Daily Facts; and WHEREAS, on the 15th day of November, 1988, the 3rd day of January, 1989, and the 16th day of May, 1989 , the City Council held duly advertised public hearings concerning the proposed amendment to the said General Plan; and WHEREAS, following said public hearings, the City Council declared that the proposed amendment is in the interest of the public health, safety and general welfare; and WHEREAS, all of the provisions of the Government Code relating to the amendment of the General Plan have been complied with; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Redlands; That Resolution No. 4434 is hereby rescinded and the amendment to the General Plan adopted by the Planning Commission in shall be adopted as follows: AMENDMENT NO. 41 TO THE GENERAL PLAN OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS 1. Medium Density Residential, Administrative-Professional, Neighborhood Commercial, General Commercial, Urban Services, Light Industrial, General Industrial, Open Space, Public Institutional, and Science Research Park land use designations are reasonable and appropriate land uses for approximately 4,300 acres of land located adjacent to Interstate 10 , bounded on the north by the Santa Ana. River, on the east by Texas Street, on the south by Barton Road, and on the west by Mountain View Avenue, Anderson Street, and California Street. 2 . A map showing the above-referenced change is on file in the Planning and Community Development Office titled "Amendment No. 41 to the General Plan of the City of Redlands" and as shown on the CSA 110 Specific Plan to the General Plan. ADOPTED, SIGNED ARID APPROVED this 16th day of May, 1989.
