HomeMy WebLinkAbout4408_CCv0001.pdf RESOLUTION NO. 4408 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS FOR ADOPTION OF AMENDMENT NO. 42 TO THE GENERAL PLAN WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Redlands has prepared an amendment to the General Plan and adopted such amendment in R.P.C. Resolution No. 721 after holding a public hearing upon notice in accordance with the Government Code of the State of California; and WHEREAS, R.P.C. Resolution No. 721 has been certified to the City Council of the City of Redlands; and WHEREAS, on the 23rd day of July, 1988, a Notice of Public Hearing was published in the Redlands Baily Facts; and WHEREAS, on the 2nd day of August, 1988, the City Council has held a duly advertised public hearing concerned with the proposed amendment to the said General Plan; and WHEREAS, following said public hearing, the City Council declares that the proposed amendment is in the interest of the public health, safety and general welfare; and WHEREAS, all of the provisions of the Government Code relating to the amendment of the General Plan have been complied with; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Redlands: That the amendment to the General Plan adopted by the Planning Commission in R.P.C. Resolution No. 721 shall be adopted as follows: AMENDMENT NO. 42 TO THE LAND USE ELEMENT OF THE GENERAL PLAN OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS 1. That approximately six acres of land located on the northeast corner of Iowa Street and Barton Road are now designated Medium Density and Low Density Residential (4 to 6 units per acre) . 2 . That Administrative and Professional would be a reasonable and appropriate land use. ADOPTED, SIGNED AND APPROVED this 2nd day of August, 1988.
