That the amendment to the General Plan adopted by the Planning Commission in
Redlands Planning Commission Resolution No. 805 shall be adopted as following:
AMENDMENT NO. 53 TO THE
GENERAL PLAN OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS
That the paragraph entitled "Plan Process" under the "Statement of Objectives"
located on page I of General Plan Amendment No. 38 is hereby amended to
read as follows:
"Plan Process: As stated above, the plan process is the application of two sets
of overlapping policy. It is important to note at this point that this study is but
the policy formulation portion of the 'planning for this area'. This effort has
identified 12 subsectors, which we have labeled Planning Sectors, which are
each complex units unto themselves. Because they are numerous and complex,
it was beyond the scope of this effort to quantify and specifically 'plan' each
individual sector. A specific pian shall be developed for each of these sectors
consistent with the Policy Recommendations contained herein as the means of
implementing this General Plan. Notwithstanding the foregoing, a specific plan
shall not be a prerequisite for the approval of any residential development
project consisting of four dwelling units or less within Planning Subsector
No. 2."
ADOPTED, SIGNED AND APPROVED this lst day of June, 1993.
