A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
REDLANDS ADOPTING AMENDMENT NO. 64 REVISING THE
OFFICIAL LAND USE MAP OF THE REDLANDS GENERAL PLAN
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Redlands has prepared an
amendment to the official land use map of the Redlands General Plan and adopted such
amendment in R.P.C. Resolution No. 871 after holding a public hearing upon notice in
accordance with the Government Code of the State of California; and
WHEREAS, R.P.C. Resolution No 871 has been certified to the City Council
of the City of Redlands; and
WHEREAS, on the 27th day of August, 1997, a Notice of Public Hearing was
published in the Redlands Daily Facts; and
WHEREAS, following said public hearing, the City Council declares that the
proposed amendment is in the interest of the public health, safety and general welfare;
and
WHEREAS, all of the provisions of the Government Code relating to the
amendment of the General Plan have been complied with;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Redlands:
That the amendment to the General Plan adopted by the Planning Commission
in R.P.C. Resolution No. 871 shall be adopted as follows:
AMENDMENT NO. 64 TO THE
GENERAL PLAN OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS
Change the official land use map of the Redlands General Plan from O (Open Space) to
PI (Public Institution) for the property commonly referred to as the "California Street
Landfill Borrow Site" which is more particularly described as Exhibit "A" which is
attached hereto and incorporated herein by this reference.
ADOPTED, SIGNED AND APPROVED this 16th day of September, 1997.
