HomeMy WebLinkAbout5895_CCv0001.pdf RESOLUTION NO. 5895 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS FOR ADOPTION OF AMENDMENT NO. 74 TO THE GENERAL PLAN WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Redlands has prepared an amendment to the General Plan and adopted such amendment after holding a public hearing upon notice in accordance with the Government Code of the State of California; and WHEREAS, on the 27th day of June, 2001, a Notice of Public Hearing was published in the Redlands Daily Facts; and WHEREAS, following said public hearing, the City Council declares that the proposed amendment is in the interest of the public health, safety and general welfare; and WHEREAS, all of the provisions of the Government Code relating to the amendment of the General Plan have been complied with; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Redlands: That the amendment to the General PIan adopted by the Planning Commission shall be adopted as follows: AMENDMENT NO. 74 TO THE GENERAL PLAN OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS Change land use designation from Rural Living to Very-Low-Density Residential on two contiguous parcels totaling 3.63 acres located on the northwest comer of Opal Avenue and Eastbern Lane in the City of Redlands Sphere of Influence area. ADOPTED, SIGNED AND APPROVED this 17th day of July, 2001.
