A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS FOR
ADOPTION OF AMENDMENT NO. 88 TO THE GENERAL PLAN
WHEREAS,the Planning Commission of the City of Redlands has prepared an amendment
to the General Plan Housing Element and adopted such amendment after holding a public hearing
upon notice in accordance with the Government Code of the State of California; and
WHEREAS, 45 days prior to this hearing, a copy of the proposed general plan housing
element amendment was mailed to all affected special districts and surrounding cities and counties;
and
WHEREAS, 20 days prior to this hearing a Notice of Public Hearing was published in the
Redlands Daily Facts and the Sun; and
WHEREAS, following said public hearing, the City Council declares that the proposed
amendment is in the interest of the public health, safety, and general welfare; and
WHEREAS, all of the provisions of the Government Code relating to the amendment of the
General Plan Housing Element have been complied with;
NOW.THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF REDLANDS AS FOLLOWS:
That General Plan Amendment No. 88 is hereby adopted as shown in Exhibit"A".
ADOPTED, SIGNED AND APPROVED this 15th day of October, 2002.
