A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS AMENDING PROCESSING FEES FOR
THE COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT DEPARTMENT FOR HOME OCCUPATION
PERMITS AND BANNER PERMITS.
Whereas, Chapter 3.16 of the Redlands Municipal Code authorizes the City Council of the
City of Redlands ("this City Council") to levy fees and charges for costs reasonably borne in
providing City services; and
Whereas, the City needs to capture the associated processing and handling costs as part of
the review of home occupation permits and banner permits; and
Whereas, this City Council has found and determined that the fees and charges established
by this resolution do not exceed the estimated reasonable costs of providing the services for which
the fees and charges are imposed; and
Whereas, this City Council has further found and determined that the fees and charges
established by this Resolution are reasonable, fair and equitable in nature and proportionately
representative of the costs incurred by the city in providing the services; and
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
REDLANDS as follows:
Section 1. The fees for providing Community Development Department services for home
occupation permits and banner permits are as set forth below:
A. Home Occupation Permits $25
B. Annual Banner Permit
Initial Banner Permit for one time display $45
Additional display periods up to a maximum of three additional per year $15 each
ADOPTED, SIGNED AND APPROVED this 7th day of September, 1999.
