A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS
FOR ADOPTION OF AMENDMENT NO. 28-B TO THE GENERAL PLAN
R.P .C . NO. 591
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Redlands has pre-
pared an amendment to the General Plan and adopted such amendment in
R.P.C. Resolution No . 591 after holding a public hearing upon notice
in accordance with the Government Code of the State of California; and
WHEREAS , R.P .C . Resolution No . 591 has been certified to the City
Council of the City of Redlands ; and
WHEREAS, on the 8th day of October, 1983 , Notice of Public Hearing
was published in the Redlands Daily Facts ; and
WHEREAS, on this 18th day of October, 1983 , the City Council has
held a duly advertised public hearing concerned with the proposed
amendment to the said General Plan; and
WHEREAS, following said Public Hearing, the City Council declares
that the proposed amendment is in the interest of the public health,
safety, and general welfare; and
WHEREAS, all of the provisions of the Government Code relating to
the amendment of a general plan have been complied with;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Redlands:
1 . That the amendment to the General Plan adopted by the
Planning Commission in R.P.C . Resolution No . 591 shall
be adopted as follows :
AMENDMENT NO. 28-B TO THE
GENERAL PLAN OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS
Change the land use element designation from Urban
Reserve (0 to 2 units per acre) and Low Density
Residential (4 to 6 units per acre) to Medium
Density Residential (10 to 15 units per acre) and
Low Density Residential (4 to 6 units per acre)
for 27 . 8 to 31 . 7 acres of land located on the
northwest corner of Colton Avenue and Wabash Avenue .
2 . That said amendment shall become effective upon final
adoption of a Specific Plan for the subject area by
Ordinance of the City of Redlands .
