A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS APPROVING THE
SUBMISSION OF AN APPLICATION UNDER THE CALIFORNIA
BEVERAGE CONTAINER RECYCLING AND LITTER REDUCTION ACT
WHEREAS, the Legislature of the State of California has
enacted the California Beverage Container Recycling and Litter
Reduction Act which provides funds to certain entities for litter
abatement and recycling activities; and
WHEREAS, the Division of Recycling has been delegated the
responsibility for the administration of the program, setting up
necessary procedures governing the submission of proposals by various
organizations and local agencies under the program; and
WHEREAS, said procedures established b
Recycling require the proposer to certify by the Division of
approval to submit an application prior to submissioniola
application to the state; and of said
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the
City of Redlands:
I. Fully supports all projects within said application.
2 . Certifies that the proposed project does not replace
previously City of Redlands' budgeted projects.

that the foregoing resolution was duly adopted by the City Council at
a regular meeting held on the 16th day of January, 1990 by the
following vote:
AYES: Councilmembers Beswick, Cunningham, Larson,
NOES: None Milson; Mayor DeMirjyn
