HomeMy WebLinkAboutDeeds & Easements_33B-1968ENovember 14, 1968 Mr. Howard Barnett 104 North Eureka Street Redlands, California 92373 Dear Mr. Barnett: On November 12, 1968, the Grant Deed from Joseph G. and Maurice Clapp granting the real property located at 104 North Eureka Street to the City of Redlands was recorded in the San Bernardino County Recorder's office. The agreement between yourself and the City of Redlands which is dated June 14, 1968, indicates in paragraph 2 (1), that "Barnett's use of the property for three months following the date of execution of the agreement (June 14, 1968) shall be without charge and no rent shall be required by the City." Inasmuch as your current rent is paid to December 1, 1968, it is suggested that the provisions of the agree- ment between the City and yourself, with regard to the no -rent portion, should start December 1, 1968. This would mean that the months of December, 1968, and January and February, 1969, would be without any rental charge to you by the City. Rental would again commence on March 1, 1969, at the rate of 4150.00 per month, payable in advance. You will note that the agreement specifies that you may vacate the property any time, but it must be vacated by May 31, 1969. If this arrangement is acceptable to you, would you please indicate by so noting at the bottom of one copy of this letter and returning it to me? Cordially, l R. P.
