A RESOLUTION OF TI-f.I CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS
APPROVING THE APS LfCATION FOR BICYCLE FUNDS AUTHORIZED UNDER
SIS S21 AND APPROVING I`G THE ADOPTION OF ITS BICYCLE PARKING PLAN
WHEREAS , SB 821 provides that two Percent (2%) of each County 's
total local Transportation fund be annually sew aside and used to
fund: the development of bicycle and pedestrian facilites ; and:
WIIFREAS , the City of Redlands has planned a bicycle parking
system in conformance with specifications of the California Highway
Design Manual and the Regional Transportation Plan ; and
WHEREAS , the Cite of Redlands desires to construct the bicycle
perking system within their City utilizing the funds n.vailable under
SB 821 ,
NOT, THEREFORE , the City Council of the City of Redlands does
resolve as follows :
1 . To adopt the bicycle ;parking plan in conformance with
the specifications of the Cal:i%rnia highway Design
Manual and the Regional Transportation Plan. ,
2 . To authorize J. F. Shefchik , Director of Public Works ,
as the City ' s authorized signature and designated
contact person ,
3 . To appy for all funds available to the City of Redlands
allocated for Iikeways and Pedestrian Facilities (SB 821) .
ADOPTED , SIGNED AND APPROVED this 21st day OfFebruary, 1978 .
