This first amendment ("First Amendment") to the agreement for the provision of
professional services for the provision of field survey and survey mapping/improvement plan
review services ("Agreement"), dated October 19, 2021, by and between the City of Redlands, a
municipal corporation and a general law city ("City"), and CASC Engineering and Consulting,
Inc., a California Corporation ("Consultant"), is made and entered into this 5th day of July 2023.
RECITALS
WHEREAS, the Parties entered into a Professional Services Agreement ("Agreement") on
October 19, 2021, for the development of an Inclusionary Housing Program;
WHEREAS, the Parties entered into a First Amendment to the Agreement ("First
Amendment") on July 5, 2023; and
WHEREAS, it is the desire of the Parties to amend their existing Agreement, specifically
to make a change exgtending the deadline for the performance of the services by the Consultant.
NOW, THEREFORE, for good and valuable consideration in the receipt of which is hereby
acknowledged City and Consultant agree as follows:
AGREEMENT
Section 1. Article 3 of the Agreement, entitled "Responsibilities of City," is hereby
amended to read as follows:
"3.1 City designates Brian Desatnik, Development Services Director, as City's representative
with respect to performance of the Services, and such person shall have the authority to transmit
instructions, receive information, interpret and define City's policies and decisions with respect to
performance of services.
Section 2. Article 4 of the Agreement, entitled "Performance of Services," is hereby
amended to read as follows:
"4.2 The term of this agreement shall be extened to October 19, 2024, and the City shall have
the option to extend the term of the Agreement by one (1) additional year, on the same terms and
conditions, by providing written notice to the Contractor at least thirty (30) days prior to the
expiration of the Agreement unless the services are terminated earlier as provided for herein."
Section 3. All other provisions of the Agreement shall remain unchanged by this First
Amendment and in effect.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the parties have executed this First Amendment, to be effective
as of July 5, 2023.
