RESOLUTION CONCERNING GRANT OF REAL PROPERTY TO THE CITY OF REDLANDS FROM:
VAN-DEN J. AND DOROUTY E. COVINGTON.
RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Redlands, California,
has received froVANDEN J. AND D0110TRY E. COVINGTON, the grant by Grant Deed
of real property in the City of Redlands , County of San Bernardino, State of
California, as described in the Deed dated and attached
hereto, said property including:
A portion of Lot 14, Block 2, Redlands Town Plat, City of Redlands,
County of San Bernardino. State of California, as per plat recorded
in Book 5 of Maps, Page 10, records of said County described as:
Being a parcel of land in the form of a circular complement at the
northeast corner of the southerly 93.25 feet of said Lot 14, bounded
by the south rigr1it of way line of 92 foot wide Central Avenue, west
right of way line of 50 foot" wide Second Street and circular curve
of 18 foot radius tanment to said south right of way line of Central
Avenue and west right of way 'Line of Second Street.
Said dedication is required for the protection of the public health,
safety, and welfare and for the purpose of providing light, space
and air.
BE AND THE SANW IS HEREBY ACCEPTED, AND
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED AND ORDEHED that the Mayor or the City Manager
of the City of Redlands is hereby authorized, empowered and directed to accept
said grant on behalf of said City of Redlands.
