RESOLUTION CONCERNING GRANT OF REAL PROPERTY BY THE CITY OF REDLANDS TO
Fifth Avenue Swimming Club, an unincorporated association,
RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Redlands, California,
does hereby authorize the demise, release, and quitclaim by Quitclaim deed to
Fifth Avenue Swimming Club, an unincorporated association, of real property- isr
the City of Redlands, County of San Bernardino, State of California, described
as follows-
That portion of Lot 2, Block 35, Addition No. 1 to second
Preliminary Map of Redlands, in the City of Redlands, County
of San Bernardino, State of California, as per plat recorded
in Book 5 of Maps, page 4, records of said County, described
as follows:
COMMENCING at the Southwest corner of Section 25, Township 1
South, Range 3 West, San Bernardino Base and Meridian, as the
lines of the Government Survey Map be extended across the Rancho
San Bernardino, thence East along the South line of said section
about 435 feet to the West line of the Bear Valley Canal as the
same existed in 1891 ; thence in a Northerly direction along said
West line of the Bear Valley Canal 187 feet; thence in a Westerly
direction along the South line of the land conveyed to Frank Po
Morrison by Deed recorded April 19, 1884 in Book 37 of Deeds ,.
page 27, 500 feet more or less to the West line of said section;
thence South along the West line of said Section, 73 feet, more
or less, to the point of beginning.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED AND ORDERED that the Mayor and the City
Clerk, of the City of Redlands are hereby authorized, empowered and directed to
execute said Quitclaim deed on behalf of the City of Redlands.
