A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS
ESTABLISHING TRAFFIC REGULATIONS PURSUANT TO TITLE 10 OF
THE REDLANDS MUNICIPAL CODE ESTABLISHING A NO -PARKING
ZONE
WHEREAS, pursuant to studies made under the authority of Title 10 of the Redlands
Municipal Code, and the presentation of information contained in such studies, the City Council of
the City of Redlands ("the City Council") has determined that certain traffic regulations are necessary
to protect the public health, safety and welfare and should be established pursuant to Title 10 of the
Redlands Municipal Code.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
REDLANDS AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The City Council determines that approval of this Resolution is exempt from
environmental review under California Environmental Quality Act ("CEQA") pursuant to State
CEQA Guidelines section 15301(c) which provides exemption for minor alterations of existing public
streets and sidewalks. The City Council finds with certainty that the improvements involve negligible
or no expansion of an existing use.
Section 2. Pursuant to Section 10.40.090(c) of the Redlands Municipal Code:
a. Establish a no -parking zone on eastbound and westbound Industrial Park Avenue
between the west side property line of 1675 Industrial Park Avenue to Alabama Street between
the hours of 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM;
b. Establish a no -parking zone with the exception of commercial vehicles on
eastbound and westbound Industrial Park Avenue between Nevada Street and the west
side property line of 1675 Industrial Park Avenue between the hours of 10:00 PM to
6:00 AM;
c. The City Traffic Engineer is hereby authorized and directed to post the
appropriate signage and curb markings as designated in Redlands Municipal Code
Section 10.40.240 to implement this resolution.
