RESOLUMON CONCERNING GRA N777 OF REAL PROPERTY TO THE CITY OF REDLANDS
SANTA VE LAND IMPRM"EMENT COWANY
RESOLVED.- that the City Council of the City of Redlands , California,
has received from SANTA FE LAND IMPROVEMENT COYYANY; the grant of real
property by Grant Deed in the City of Redlands, Cwmnity of San Bernardino,
State of California, as described in the deed dated November 1, 1960, as
follows
PORTIONS OF,- lots 10 and 111 , Block "B", of the Fairbanks and
Wilson Subdivision of Part of Lots 27 and 28, Block 77, San
Bernardino Rancho, as said Lots 10 and 11 are shown on plat
recorded in Book 40 of Maps, page 4.7, records of said County,
said parcel being more particullarly described as follows
BEGINNING at the northwe-st corner of said Lot 10; thence South
00 18' 11" Fast (bearings assured for purposes of this descrip-
tions along the westerly line of said Lot 10 a distance nof
142.50 feet to a point in a line parallel with and distant
northerly 15,00 feet measured at right angles from the south-
erly line of said Lots 10 and 11; thence North 890 43' 19"
East along said parallel line 72. 36 feet to a point in a line
parallel with and distant easterly 72. 36 feet, measured at
right angles from said westerly line,, thence North 00 18' 11"
West along last said parallel line 10.00 feet; thence, from
a tangent which bears South 8910 43' 19" Went, Northwesterly
Tong the arc of a curve, concave northeasterly arid having a
radius of 25.00 feet through a central angle of 630 34' 40"
a distance of 27. 74 feet; thence North 2.60 42' 01" West tang-
ent to the preceding curve 24.47 feet; thence northwesterly
along the are of a curve tangent to the preceding course,
concave northeasterly and having a radius of 375.00 feet
through a central angle of 150 38' 20" a distance of 102. 36
feet to a point in the northerly line of said Lot 10; thence
South 890 42' 25" West along said northerly line 6.59 feet,
more orless, to the point of beginning; containing an area
of 4466 Square feet more or less.
RESERVING, unto Grantor, its successors and assigns , all oil,
gas and other hydrocarbon and mineral substances lying not
less than one hundred (100) feet below the surface of said
land, provided that Grantor, its successors and assigns, shall
not have the right to go upon the surface of said land for the
purpose of extracting said oil, gas, or other hydrocarbon and
mineral substances , nor for any purpose in connection there-
with, but shall have the right to extract and remove said oil,
gas and other hydrocarbon and mineral substances by means of

slant-drilled wells located on adjacent or nearby land, or
by any other means which shall net require entry upon the
surface of said land;
SD"RJ'ECT TO all current nondelinquent general and special district
taxes , and other matters of record; if any.
BE AND THE SAME 1S HEREBY ACCEPTED, and
DE IT FURTHER RE-SOLVED AND ORDERED that the Mayor or the City Mana-
ger of the City of Redlands is hereby authorized, empowered and directed
to accept said grant on behalf of said City of Redlands.
