WMRUS, there is a need to eaqpiwd and install necessary streets, water lines,
lawns, and other facilities in the Hillside Cemetery, and revenue mist be derived from
the sale of burial "oes to purchase more ground and make the necessary improvements
With this in mind, we Cot accurate estimates fresa contractcore for the development cf
our only undevelgxd area. To this we added the, coat of replacement of the ground as
was estimated or evaluated by a local real estate man. By actual plot plan, we can de-
velop 4y000 graves in this eight acres. The total cost including the ground is
X43,000.00, or $1.07.50 per grave. To this figure must be added interest at 6% or
w6.45 per grave, and $W,OO per grave which we must depceit its the endowment fund.
This gives us a total cost of 6353.95 per grave, It is impassible to operate on a
sound business basis at our present prices, which range from $65.00 per space to
47,50.00 per space.
Y TUT,EAS, the casts of labor and materials used in the preparation of grave
spaces for burial in Hillside Cemetery, and the costs of preparing new areas for usage
for burial space, and existing prices do not cover these casts;
