A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS
DECLARING THAT THE PROJECT TO INSTALL EFFLUENT TROUGHS
AT THE HINCKLEY WATER TREATMENT PLANT CAN BE PERFORMED
MORE ECONOMICALLY BY THE CITY'S WATER DIVISION CREWS
WHEREAS, Section 22038 of the California Public Contract Code sets forth the options
for public agencies that have elected to become subject to the uniform construction cost
accounting procedures, and the City has elected to adopt and implement these procedures; and
WHEREAS, the City has conducted an informal competitive bid process, with a single
bid in the amount of$114,000.00, for the project to install effluent troughs at the Hinckley Water
Treatment Plan; and
WHEREAS, the project can be completed more economically by employees of the City
based on information submitted by the Municipal Utilities Department;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Redlands as
follows:
Section 1. It is declared that the project to install effluent troughs at the Hinckley Water
Treatment Plant can be performed more economically by the employees of the City.
