RESOLUTION NO. 4581 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS DESIGNATING AN HISTORIC LANDMARK WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 1954 establishes rules and regulations governing the designation, preservation and perpetuation of historical and scenic properties; and WHEREAS, the Historic and Scenic Preservation Commission has held a duly advertised public hearing to consider designating the following as an historic landmark : Kimberly Crest House and Gardens 1325 Prospect Drive Redlands, California WHEREAS, the Historic and Scenic Preservation Commission has nominated the abovementioned property as a historic landmark in accordance with procedures established in Ordinance No. 1954; and WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Redlands has held a duly advertised public hearing to consider the recommendation of the Historic and Scenic Preservation Commission; and NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Redlands as follows: 1. The following property is hereby designated as an historic landmark : Kimberly Crest House and Gardens 1325 Prospect Drive Redlands, California Attachment "A" Legal Description 2. This historic landmark shall not be altered on the exterior, moved, demolished, subdivided, or other wise permanently changed on the exterior unless a Certificate of Appropriateness has been secured. The Council stipulates that particular attention be given to the preservation of those items listed in "Elements of the Property to be Protected" in the staff report dated September 25, 1989. o >4 P 1 17 7 3 . All provisions of Ordinance No. 1954, and any amend- ments thereto, are in effect now and in the perpetual future. . The City Clerk of the City of Redlands is hereby directed to cause a certified copy of this Resolution to be recorded with the County Recorder, County of San Bernardino. ADOPTED, SIGNED AND APPROVED this 7th day of November, 1989. EXCEPT that portion of said Lot 3 lying north of the south line of the private road as shown on the amended map of part of the Belle View Tract and part of Block 26 of Map No. 6, Redlands Heights, as per map recorded in Book 15 of Maps, Page 66, records of said county. Parcels No. 2: Lot 4 of Belle View Tract, in the city of Redlands, county of San Bernardino, state of California, as per map recorded in Book 12 of Maps, Page 54, in the office of the County Recorder of said county. EXCEPT that portion described as follows: Beginning at the southeast corner of said Lot 4 at the intersection of the southeasterly line of said Lot 4 with the northwesterly line of the 18-foot road; thence north 30 degrees 29 minutes east 14.31 feet along the said northwesterly line of an 18-foot road to an angle point in said road; thence north 24 degrees 36 minutes east 25.69 feet along the northwesterly line of said 18-foot road; thence north 65 degrees 00 minutes west 60.00 feet; thence south 41 degrees 00 minutes west 96.42 feet, more or less, to the southwesterly line of said Lot 4; thence south 59 degrees 49 minutes east 12.47 feet along the said southwesterly line of Lot 4 to an angle point; thence north 78 degrees 34 minutes east 90.71 feet along the southeasterly line of said Lot 4 to the point of beginning. ALSO EXCEPT that portion described as follows: Beginning at the northeast corner of said Lot 4, Belle View Tract, on the west line of a private roadway, thence south 76 degrees 39 minutes east, 69 feet, to a paint where the east line of the private road, as shown on the map of the Belle View Tract, intersects the actual west line of the private road way as shown on the amended map of parts of the Belle View Tract. Thence south 47 degrees, 10 minutes east, 44.5 feet to an iron rod, thence south 13 degrees, 19 minutes east 49.9 feet to an iron rod on the present north curb line of the private roadway; thence north 39 degrees 37 minutes west 39.5 feet, to an iron rod, thence north 33 degrees 4 minutes west 16.6 feet to an iron rod; thence north 50 degrees 22 minutes west, 31.7 feet, to an iron rod, thence north 64 degrees 31 minutes west 62.2 feet to an iron rod 1.1 foot east of the east edge of the water hydrant; thence along the north line of said Lot 4, of the Belle View Tract, north 38 degrees 55 minutes east 5.8 feet to the point of beginning.
