RESOLUTION NO. 4751
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS
DESIGNATING A HISTORIC PROPERTY
WHEREASr Chapter 2.24 of the Redlands Municipal Code estab-
lishes rules and regulations governing the designation ,
preservation and perpetuation of historical and scenic properties;
and
WHEREAS, the Historic and Scenic Preservation Commission has
held a duly advertised public hearing to consider registering the
following as a historical property:
Joseph E. Brown Residence
124 Eleventh Street
Redlands, California
WHEREAS, the Historic and Scenic Preservation Commission has
recommended the abovementioned property as a historic property in
accordance with procedures established in Chapter 2 . 24 of the
Redlands Municipal Code; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of .Redlands has held a
duly advertised public hearing to consider the recommendation of
the Historic and Scenic Preservation Commission; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Redlands as follows.
1 . The following property is hereby designated as an
historic property:
Joseph E. Brown Residence
124 Eleventh Street
Redlands, California.
Legal Description:
Lot 18 of the Revised Map of Arcadia Addition in
the City of Redlands, County of San Bernardino,
State of California, as per map recorded in Book
13 of daps, Page 87, in the Office of the Recorder
of the County of Sari Bernardino.
2. This historic property shall not be altered on the
exterior, moved, demolished, subdivided, or other wise
permanently changed on the exterior until an appro-
priate permit has been. secured.
3. All provisions of Chapter 2 . 24, and any amendments
thereto, are in effect now and in the perpetual. future,
4. The City Clerk of the City of Redlands is hereby
directed to cause a certified copy of this Resolution
to be recorded with the County Recorder, County of San
Bernardino.
ADOPTED, SIGNED AND APPROVED this 2nd day of April, 1991.
