RESOLUTION NO. 4835
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS
DESIGNATING AN HISTORIC RESOURCE
WHEREAS , Chapter 2 . 62 of the Redlands Municipal Code
establishes rules and regulations governing the designation,
preservation and perpetuation of historical and scenic properties;
and
WHEREAS, the Historic and Scenic Preservation Commission has
held a duly advertised public hearing to consider designating the
following as a historical resource:
Lederer House
407 Brookside Avenue
Redlands, California
WHEREAS, the Historic and Scenic Preservation Commission has
nominated the abovementioned property as a historic resource in
accordance with procedures established in Chapter 2 . 62 of the
Redlands Municipal Code; and
WHEREAS, the City CoUn ::il of the City of Redlands has held a
duly advertised public hearing to consider the recommendation of
the Historic and Scenic Preservation Commission; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Redlands as follows:
1. The following property is hereby designated as a
historical resource:
Lederer House
407 Brookside Avenue
Redlands, California
Legal Description:
Lot 8, Parkwood Addition - Assessors parcel
No. 171-223-13
2 . This historic resource shall not be altered on the
exterior, moved, demolished, subdivided, or other wise
permanently changed on the exterior until a Certificate
of Appropriateness has been secured.
3 . All provisions of Chapter 2 . 62 of the Redlands
Municipal Code and any amendments thereto, are in
effect now and in the perpetual future.
4 . The City Clerk of the City of Redlands is hereby
directed to cause, a certified copy of this. Resolution
to be recorded with the County Recorder, County of San
Bernardino.
ADOPTED, SIGNED AND APPROVED this 7th day of January, 1992 .
