RESOLUTION NO. 4858 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS DESIGNATING AN HISTORIC RESOURCE WHEREAS, Chapter 2.62 of the Redlands Municipal Code establishes rules and regulations governing the designation, preservation and perpetuation of historical and scenic properties; and WHEREAS, the Historic and Scenic Preservation Commission has held a duly advertised public hearing to consider designating the following as a historical property: R. J. Dunn House 112 West Olive Avenue Redlands, California 92373 WHEREAS, the Historic and Scenic Preservation Commission has nominated the abovementioned property as a historic property in accordance with procedures established in Chapter 2.62 of the Redlands Municipal Code; and WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Redlands has held a duly advertised public hearing to consider the recommendation of the Historic and Scenic Preservation Commission; and NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Redlands as follows: 1. The following property is hereby designated as a historical property: R. J. Dunn House 112 West Olive Avenue Redlands, California 92373 See Exhibit "A" for legal description. 2 . This historic property shall not be altered on the exterior, moved, demolished, subdivided, or other wise permanently changed on the exterior until a Certificate of Appropriateness has been secured. 92-178811 3 . All provisions of Chapter 2 . 62 of the Redlands Municipal Code and any amendments thereto, are in effect now and in the perpetual future. 4 . The City Clerk of the City of Redlands is hereby directed to cause a certified copy of this Resolution to be recorded with the County Recorder, County of San Bernardino. DUNN HOUSE That portion of Lots 15 and 16, Block "E, " Orange Grove Addition, Town of Redlands, now City of Redlands being a sub- division of Lots 1 and 8, Block "N" of Redlands, in the City of Redlands, County of San Bernardino, State of California, as per map recorded in Book 4, Page 38, of Maps, in the Office of the County Recorder of said County, described as follows: Commencing at a point on Olive Avenue, 9.3 feet Southwest of the Southeast corner of said Lot 15; thence running Northwesterly 100 feet parallel with Eureka Street; thence Northeasterly parallel with Olive Avenue 48.5 feet; thence Southeasterly 100 feet to the Southeast boundary line of said Lot 16 on Olive Avenue; thence Southwesterly along Olive Avenue 48. 5 feet to point of beginning.
