A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY O1; REDLANDS
DESIGNATING AN HISTORIC PROPERTY
HISTORIC RESOURCE NO. 109
WHEREAS,Chapter2.62 ofthe Redlands Municipal Code establishes rules and regulations
govering the designation, preservation and perpetuation of historic and scenic properties; and
WHEREAS, the Historic and Scenic Preservation Commission has held a duly advertised
public hearing to consider designating the following as an historic property:
YWCA Building
16 Last Olive Avenue
Redlands, California 02373
WHEREAS, the Historic and Scenic Prc3ervation Commission has nominated the above-
mentioned property as an historic property in accordance with procedures established in Chapter2.62
ofthe Redlands Municipal Code; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Redlands has held a duly advertised public
hearing to consider the recommendation of the Historic and Scenic Preservation Commission; and
NOW, "THEREFORE, BE ]'[' RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Redlands as
follows.-
1. The following property owned by Tom Cuticr is hereby designated as an historical
property:
YWCA Building., 16 East Olive Avenue, Redlands, California 92373

2. This historical property shall not be altered on the exterior, moved, demolished,
subdivided, or otherwise permanently changed on the exterior until a Certificate of
Appropriateness has been secured.
3. All provisions of Chapter 2.62 o.fthe Redlands Municipal Code and any amendments
thereto, are in effect now and in the perpetual future.
4. The City Clerk of the City of Redlands is hereby directed to cause a certified copy of
this Resolution to be recorded with the County Recorder,County of San Bernardino.
ADOPTED, SIGNED AND APPROVED this 5th day of December 2006.
