BOX 3005 I Fee. 0.00 STATEADDRESST2xes 0.00 a REDLANDS, CA 92373 Other 0.00 IIP CODE - ?RIG $0.00 SPACE ABOVE FOR RECORDER'S USE ONLY FEES NOT REQUIRED PER GOVERNMENT CODE SECTION 6103 RESOLUTION NO. 7366 Title of Document n-n Ilu RE I b���r D.- i • — r ERY n n f 4 �- SE LY THIS COVER SHEET ADDED TO PROVIDE ADEQUATE SPACE FOR RECORDING INFORMATION (;3.00 Additional Recording Fee Applies) RESOLUTION NO. 7366 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS DESIGNATING TERRACE PARK,AS A HISTORIC PROPERTY(HISTORIC AND SCENIC RESOURCE NO. 115) WHEREAS,Chapter 2.62 of the Redlands Municipal Code establishes rules and regulations governing the designation, preservation and perpetuation of historic and scenic properties; and A`HEREAS, the Historic and Scenic Preservation Commission has held a duly advertised public hearing to consider the designation of the following as a historic property: the strip of land lying between Colton Avenue and Terrace Avenue, and Church Street and Sixth Street, being a portion of Lots 29, 30 and 31 of Block 77, Rancho San Bernardino, Redlands, California, as described in Exhibit"A"attached hereto; and ATHEREAS, the Historic and Scenic Preservation Commission has nominated the above- mentioned property as a historic property in accordance with procedures established in Chapter 2.62 of the Redlands Municipal Code; and WHEREAS,the City Council of the City of Redlands has held a duly noticed public hearing to consider the recommendation of the Historic and Scenic Preservation Commission; NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE City Council of the City of Redlands as follows: 1.Terrace Park,as described in Exhibit"A,"and Exhibit"B"is hereby designated a historic property in accordance with the provisions of Section 2.62.170 of the Redlands Municipal Code, based upon the City Council's determination that Terrace Park contributes to the historic or scenic properties of the City, and because Terrace Park has a unique location and singular physical characteristics representing an established and familiar visual feature of the neighborhood, surrounding community, and the City. 2.Terrace Park shall not be subdivided,or otherwise permanently changed,modified in use, or physically altered(e.g.the installation or removal of landscaping,light standards,park fixtures or monumentation)without approval of a Certificate of Appropriateness in accordance with Chapter 2.62 of the Redlands Municipal Code. 3.The City Clerk of the City of Redlands is hereby directed to cause a certified copy of this Resolution to be recorded with the County Recorder, County of San Bernardino. 1:\cc1erk\Reso1utions\Res 7300-739917366 Terrace Park.doc ADOPTED, SIGNED AND APPROVED this 18th day of March, 2014. $, ATTEST.
