RESOLUTION NO. 4307
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS
DESIGNATING AN HISTORIC RESOURCE
'WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 1.054 establishes rules and regulations
governing the designation, preservation and perpetuation of
historical and scenic properties, and
WHEREAS, the Historic and Scenic Preservation Commission has
held a duly advertised public hearing to consider designating the
following as an historic resource:
Throop Residence
1670 Fifth Avenue
Redlands, California
WHEREAS, the Historic and Scenic Preservation Commission has
norinated the aboverentioned property as a historic property in
accordance with procedures established in Ordinance No. 1954 ; and.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Redlands has held a
duly advertised public hearing to consider the recommendation of
the Historic and Scenic Preservation Commission; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Redlands as follows:
1. The following property is hereby designated as an
historic resource:
Throop Residence
1670 Fifth Avenue
Redlands, California
Legal description: Lot 3 , Block 25, of the Crfton
Tract in the City of Redlands, County of San
Bernardino, as per reap recorded in Map Book 3, Page 14 ,
in the office of the Recorder of said County.

2 . This historic resource shall not be altered on the
exterior, moved, demolished, subdivided, or otherwise
permanently changed on the exterior until a Certificate
of Appropriateness has been secured.
3 . All provisions of Ordinance No. 1954, and any amend-
ments thereto, are in effect now and in the perpetual
future.
4. The City Clerk of the City of Redlands is hereby
directed to cause a certified copy of this Resolution
to be recorded with the County Recorder, County of San
Bernardino.
ADOPTED, SIGNED AND APPROVED this 3rd day of November, 1987 .
