A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS AUTHORIZING THE SIGNING
OF LEASE AGREEMENTS WITH THE COUNTY OF SAN BERNARDINO HOUSING
AUTHORITY
WHEREAS, the U. S . Department of Housing and Urban Development has
established a housing assistance program for elderly and handicapped
persons which the Section 8 Rental Assistance Program is a portion of,
and
WHEREAS, the Housing Authority of the County of San Bernardino
administers the Section 8 Rental Assistance Program in the County of
San Bernardino, and
WHEREAS, the City of Redlands is a property owner of rental housing
units whose tenants may qualify for the Section 8 Rental Assistance Pro-
gram.,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of
Redlands hereby authorizes H. L. Archbold or his successor to sign these
lease agreements with the County of San Bernardino Housing Authority.
ADOPTED, SIGNED AND APPROVED this 2nd day of August, 1977 .
