A RESOLUTION CE THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS APPROVING
THE JOINT EXERCISE OF POWERS AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY CYF REDLANDS
AND THE COIMTY OF SAN BER NARD INO
WHEREAS, the City and County are each empowered by law to acquire
sites and to acquire, construct, maintain, operate and lease public
buildings for administrative and recreational purposes; and
WHEREAS, it is deemed advisable f or the City ar-e- Copint y to provide
for the construction and operation of civic facilitias by jointly
exercising their common powers in the manner prescribed by law; and
WHEREAS, there has been developed a joint Powers Aqreement between
the City and the County to exercise these pc err for said construction

and operation of civic facilities for joint use by the City and the
County,
NVYW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City
of Redlands approves the joint Exercise of Powers Agreement between
the City of Redlands and the County of San Bernardino creating an Aqency
to be known as the San Bernardino County - Redlands Public Facilities
Authority, and
. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Council of the city of
Redlands authotizes the Mayor of the City of Redlands to sign such
Joint Exercise of Powers Agreement, on behalf of the city, a.Object to
approval by the City Attorney
