A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS
SUPPORTING THE "KEEP CALIFORNIA MOVING" PROGRAM
WHEREAS, Computer Transportation Services, Inc . , in
cooperation with CALTRANS, Southern California Association of
Governments, Southern California Air Quality Management
District, California Highway Patrol , and other governmental
organizations, is sponsoring "California Ride Share" Week;
and
WHEREAS, the City of Redlands has submitted a rideshare
program to the Southern California Air Quality Management
District for approval; and
WHEREAS , the City of Redlands supports the "Keep
California Moving" program;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of
the City of Redlands declares the week of October 1-5, 1990,
to be RIDESHARE WEEK in the City of Redlands and encourages
its employees and its citizens to share a ride, not only this
week but regularly.
ADOPTED, SIGNED AND APPROVED this 18th day of September,
1990.
