A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS,
COUNTY OF SAN BERNARDINO, CALIFORNIA,
INSTITUTING PROCEEDINGS, APPOINTING AN ENGINEER OF WORK,
ORDERING THE PREPARATION OF AN ENGINEER'S REPORT
INDICATING THE PROPOSED BOUNDARIES OF AN ANNEXATION
TO LANDSCAPE MAINTENANCE DISTRICT NO. 1,
AND PROVIDING FOR OTHER ENGINEERING SERVICES
IN THE MATTER OF THE ANNEXATION TO
LANDSCAPE MAINTENANCE DISTRICT NO. 1,
(CRA 517, CRA 628, CRA 624, CRA 305, Tract 13575, CUP
550, CRA 623, CUP 542, M/S 210 and M/S 201)
WHEREAS, it has been determined by the City Council of the City of
Redlands, County of San Bernardino, California, that the public
interest, convenience and necessity requires the installation and
planting of landscape materials and the installation and construc-
tion of an irrigation system and other facilities set forth in
Section 22525 of the Streets and Highways Code , State of
California , and the maintenance thereof along the various
boundaries of CRA 517 , CRA 628, CRA 624 , CRA 305, Tract 13575, CUP
550, CRA 623 , CUP 542 , M/S 210 and M/S 201.
WHEREAS, the City Council has heretofore appointed C G Engineering,
25814 Business Center Drive, Suite A, Redlands, California, as the
"Engineer of Work" for Landscape Maintenance District No. 1;
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Redlands does
hereby find, determine and resolve as follows:
SECTION 1. That the public interest, convenience and necessity
requires the annexation to a Maintenance District for the purpose
of installing, constructing and maintaining the landscaping and
other facilities authorized by Section 22525 of the Streets and
Highways Code, State of California, along the various boundaries of
CRA 517 , CRA 628, CRA 624 , CRA 305, Tract 13575, CUP 550, CRA 623 ,
CUP 542 , M/S 210 and M/S 201 .
SECTION 2 . That the area along the various boundaries of CRA 517 ,
CRA 628, CRA 624 , CRA 305, Tract 13575, CUP 550, CRA 623 , CUP 542 ,
M/S 210 and M/S 201 be defined as Annexation No. 6 to the City of
Redlands Landscape Maintenance District No. 1.

SECTION 3 . That the lands to be specially charged for the instal-
lation, construction and maintenance of the facilities and land-
scaping shall be the area within the boundaries of the District
generally indicated on the map and shall be known as Annexation No.
6 to Landscape Maintenance District No. 1.
SECTION 4 . That the proceedings are to be conducted for said
Maintenance District under and in accordance with provisions of
Division 15 of the Streets and Highways Code (Landscape and
Lighting Act of 1972) of the State of California.
SECTION 5. That C G Engineering, 25814 Business Center Drive,
Suite A, Redlands, California, is hereby appointed "Engineer of
Work" and all provisions of Division 15 applicable to the Engineer
shall apply to said "Engineer of Work. "
SECTION 6. That Noel L. Christensen is hereby designated as the
member of said firm to sign all papers and documents in connection
with the proceedings for the annexation to said Maintenance
District, acting in the capacity of "Engineer of Work. "
SECTION 7 . That the cost of maintaining the facilities and land-
scaping along the various boundaries of CRA 517, CRA 628 , CRA 624 ,
CRA 305, Tract 13575, CUP 550, CRA 623 , CUP 542 , M/S 210 and M/S
201 in subject district shall be borne by the property owners
within the District, said cost to be assessed and collected in
accordance with said Landscaping and Lighting Act of 1972 .
SECTION 8. That the Engineer is hereby ordered to prepare a report
in accordance with Article 4 of said Maintenance Act.
