A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS
ORDERING THE MAINTENANCE OF IMPROVEMENTS IN LANDSCAPE
MAINTENANCE DISTRICT NO. 1 GIVING FINAL APPROVAL
OF THE ENGINEER'S REPORT,AND CONFIRMING THE
ASSESSMENT FOR THE 2001-2002 FISCAL YEAR
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Redlands did on the 15th day of May, 2001, adopt
its Resolution of Intention No. 5843 to order the therein described work in connection with the
assessment procedures in Landscape Maintenance District No. 1; and
WHEREAS, said City Council having duly received and considered evidence, oral and
documentary,concerning the jurisdiction facts in this proceeding and concerning the necessity for
the contemplated work and the benefits to be derived therefrom; and
WHEREAS, said City Council has determined that a majority protest does not exist; and
WHEREAS, said City Council having now acquired jurisdiction to order the proposed
maintenance work;
SECTION 1. It is hereby resolved by the City Council of the City of Redlands that the public
interest and convenience requires the continuation of assessment procedures for the district, and
said City Council hereby orders that the work, as set forth and described in said Resolution of
Intention No. 5843, be done and made; and
SECTION 2. Be it further resolved that the amended report filed by the Engineer is hereby finally
approved; and
SECTION 3. Be it finally resolved that the assessments for 2001-2002 Fiscal Year and method
of assessment in the amended Engineer's Report are hereby approved.
