This second amendment ("Second Amendment") to the Public Works Construction
Contract for the 2022 CIP Water Pipeline Replacement Project dated January 17, 2023 (the
"Contract"), by and between the City of Redland$, a municipal corporation and general law city
("City"), and Tryco General Engineering, a California corporation ("Contractor"), is made and
entered into this 19'I' day of December 2023.
RECITALS
WHEREAS, it is the desire of the City acid Contractor to amend their existing Contract,
specifically to amend the time for completion from receipt of notice to proceed within three
hundred (300) calendar days of the contract to February 11, 2024; and
WHEREAS, the City Council approved thecontract with contractor for work in accordance
with the Contract Documents for City's 2022 CIP Water Pipeline Replacement Project, Project
No. 501062;
NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of the mutual promises contained herein City and
Contractor agree as follows:
AGREEMENT
Section 1. The time for completion, as set forth in Section 3 of the Contract, is hereby
amended to increase Cofitractor's time for completion and shall read as follows:
"TIME FOR COMPLETION: The Work shall be completed within three hundred (300)
calendar days from and after the date of City's issuance of a Notice to Proceed to
Contractor."
Section 2. All other provisions of the Contract shall remain unchanged by this Second
Amendment, and in effect.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the parties have executed this Second Amendment, to be
effective as of the 19th da of December 2023.
