This Fourth amendment ("Fourth Amendment") to the Public Works Construction Contract
for the Joslyn Senior Center Renovation Project for the ("Contract"), dated October 4, 2022, by
and between the City of Redlands, a municipal corporation and a general law city ("City"), and
Armstrong Cal Builders, Inc. a California corporation ("Contractor"), is made and entered into this
19th day of December 2023.
RECITALS
WHEREAS, it is the desire of the City and Contractor to amend their existing Contract,
specifically to amend the time for completion from notice to proceed within (442) calendar days
of the contract to January 31, 2024.
NOW, THEREFORE, for good and valuable consideration in the receipt of which is hereby
acknowledge City and Contractor agree as follows:
AGREEMENT
Section 1. Section 3 of the contract, entitled "Time for completion," is hereby amended to
read as follows:
3 "TIME FOR COMPLETION: The Work shall be completed within four hundred forty-two
(442) calendar days from and after the date of City's issuance of a Notice to Proceed to
Contractor."
Section 2. All other provisions of the Agreement shall remain unchanged by this Fourth
Amendment and in effect.
Section 3. This Amendment may be executed in counterparts, each of which shall be
deemed an original, but all of which, together, shall constitute one and the same instrument.
