A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS FIXING THE RATE AND LEVYING THE
PROPERTY TAX FOR THE FISCAL YEAR 1964 - 1965
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS :
SECTION ONE, There is hereby levied upon all taxable property in the city
of Redlands California, except those portions included in Annexations Nos ,
4, 5 , 6, 7, 9, 11 , 12 , 13, 15, 16, 17 , 18, 19, 22, and 23, so called, for
the fiscal year 1964 - 1965 , a property tax of One Dollar and Eighty-five
cents (1 .85) on each One Hundred Dollars ($100400) of the assessed value
of such property apportioned as follows :
Eighty-five Cents { $ .85 for the General Fund
Forty--Four Gents { . 44 for Park and Recreation Fund
Twenty-five and one-half Cents { .255 for the Library Fund
Twenty-seven Cents ( .27 for the Retirement Fund
Three and one-half Cents { .035 for the Redemption & Interes
of Redlands City Water Bonds
SECTION TWO. There is hereby levied upon all taxable property in those por-
tions of the City of Redlands, California known as Annexations Nos . 4, 5 , 6 ,
7, 9, 11 , 1.2 , 13, 15, 1.6,17, 18, 19, 22 , and 23, part oR portion thereof, for
said fiscal year 1964 - 1965, a property tax of One Dollar and Eighty-one
and one-half Cents (1 . 815) on each One Hundred Dollars ($100. 00} of the
assessed value of such property apportioned as follows :
Eighty-five Cents ( $ . 85 for the General Fund
Forty-four Cents ( . 44 for Park and Recreation Fund
Twenty-five and one-half Cents { . 255 for the Library Fund
Twenty-seven Cents ( . 27 for the Retirement Fund
SECTION THREE. It is hereby found and declared and determined that this
Resolution is urgently required for the peace , health and safety in that it
is necessary to levy a valid tax for the purpose aforesaid, and without which
there will be no revenue or funds to defray the expenses of said City, and
this Resolution will take effect and be in force immediately after its
passage and approval .
SECTION FOUR. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this
Resolution and shall cause same to be published once in the Redlands Daily
Facts.
