A RESOLUTION OF' THE CITY OF REDLANDS FIXING THE
RATE AND LEVYING' THE PROPERTY TAX FOR THE FISCAL
YEAR 1.971 - 1972
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION ONE: There is hereby levied upon all taxable property
in the City of Redlands , California for the fiscal year 1971-72
a property tax of Two Dollars and Nine and One-half cents ($2 . 095)
on each One Hundred Dollars ($100.00) of the assessed value of
such property apportioned as follows:
Ninety-four cents $ .9400 for General Fund
Forty--two and one-half cents $ .4250 for Park Fund
Eight cents $ .0800 for Recreation Fund
Twenty-eight cents $ .2800 for Library Fund
Thirty-seven cents $ .3700 for Retirement Fund
SECTION TWO : it is hereby found and declared and determined
that this Resolution is urgently required for the peace, health and
safety in that it is necessary to levy a valid tax for the purpose
aforesaid, and without which there will be no revenue or funds to
defray the expenses of said City, and this, Resolution will take,
effect and be in force inauediately after its passage and approval.
SECTION THREE: The City clerk shall certify to the passage of
this Resolution and shall cause same to be published once in the
Redlands Daily Facts .
ADOPTED, SIGNED AND APPROVED this 17th day of _August 1971 .
