A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS FIXING THE
RATE AND LEVYING THE PROPERTY TAX FOR THE FISCAL
YEAR 1977 - 1978
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY' OF REDLANDS DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION ONE: There is hereby levied upon all taxable property
. in the City of Redlands, California for the fiscal year 1977-78 a
property tax of Two Dollars and Forty-five Cents ($2.450) on each
One Hundred Dollars ($100 .00) of the assessed value of such property
apportioned as follows:
Ninety-six cents $ . 9600 for General Fund
Forty-two and one-half cents $ .4250 for Park Fund
Seven cents $ .0700 for Recreation Fund
Twenty-seven cents $ .2700 for Library Fund
Sixty-eight cents .6800 for Retirement Fund
Four and one-half cents .0450 for Sewer Fund
SECTION TWO: it is hereby found and declared and determined that
this Resolution is urgently required for the peace, health and safety
in that it is necessary to levy a valid tax for the purpose aforesaid,
and without which there will be no revenue or funds to defray the
expenses of said City, and this Resolution will take effect and be in
force immediately after its passage and approval.
SECTION THREE: The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of
this Resolution and shall cause the same to be published once in the
Redlands Daily Facts.
ADOPTED, SIGNED AND APPROVED this 16th day of August, 1977 .
