A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS FIXING THE
RATE AND LEVYING THE PROPERTY TAX FOR THE FISCAL
YEAR 1979 - 1.980
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS DOES RESOLVE AS
FOLLOWS :
SECTION ONE: There is hereby levied upon all taxable pro-
perty in the City of Redlands, California, for the fiscal year
1979-80 a property tax of Four Cents ($0. 040) on each one
Hundred Dollars ($100. 00) of the assessed value of such property
apportioned as follows:
Four Cents - $ . 040 for Sewer Fund Debt Service
SECTION TWO: It is hereby found and declared and determined
that this resolution is urgently required for the peace, health
and safety in that it is necessary to levy a valid tax for the
purpose aforesaid, and without which there will be no revenue or
funds to defray the expenses of said City, and this resolution
will take effect and be in force immediately after its passage
and approval .
SECTION THREE: The City Clerk shall certify to the passage
of this resolution and shall cause the same to be published once
in the Redlands Daily Facts.
ADOPTED, SIGNED AND APPROVED this 21st day of August, 1979 .

that the foregoing resolution was duly adopted at a regular meeting
of the City Council on the 21st day of August, 1979, by the
following vote:
AYES : Councilmembers DeMirjvn, Elliott, Riordan; Mayor Martinez
NOES: None
ABSENT: Councilmember Knudsen
