RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF rrdE CITY OF REDLANDS
AUTHORIZING TLMPORARY BORROWING FOR ACQUISITION OF
PUBLIC PARKING
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Redlands intends to
acquire property for public parking facilities, and
WHEREAS, the amount of revenue from ad valorem taxes provided
for the City of Redlands for the current fiscal year is $775,000
for general operation purposes;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the
City of Redlands, pursuant to Division 2, Article 7, of Title 5
of the Government Code, declares the intent to borrow $300,000
for immediate requirements of said city to pay obligations law-
fully incurred in the fiscal year 1972-73 for the purpose of
acquisition of public parking facilities;
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that said notes shall be sold to the
bidder offering the lowest net cost to the City of Redlands.
