A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS
REQUESTING SAN BERNARDINO COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS AND
DIRECTOR, OFFICE OF El�IERGENCY SERVICES, CONCURRENCE IN
LOCAL EMERGENCIES
WHEREAS, on September 30, 1976, the City Council of the City
of Redlands, County of San Bernardino, found that due to heavy rains,
windstorms and floods a condition of extreme peril to life and prop-
erty did exist in the City of Redlands during the period of September
24, 1976;
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY DECLARED AND ORDERED that a copy
of this declaration be forwarded to the Board of Supervisors of San
Bernardino County with a request that they find it acceptable in
accordance with provisions of the Natural Disaster Assistance Act,
and that they enter a finding and declare an emergency did exist.
IT IS FURTHER RESOLVED that Jack Shefchik, Director of Public
Works, is hereby designated as the authorized representative of the
City of Redlands for the purpose of receipt, processing, and coordina-
tion of all inquiries and requirements necessary to obtain available
state assistance.
ADOPTED, SIGNED AND APPROVED this 30th day of September, 1976.
