RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS, CALIFORNIA,
APPROVING SUPPLEMENT NO. 4 OF THE MASTER AGREE14ENT BETWEEN THE CITY
OF REDLANDS AND THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA FOR THE PAVEMENT MARKING
DEMONSTRATION PROGRAM
WHEREAS, on November 7 , 1978, the City Council of the City of
Redlands approved the Master Agreement No. 08-5033 between the City
of Redlands and the State of California for Federal-Aid Projects ;
and
WHEREAS, the City of Redlands now desires to approve Supple-
ment No. 3 of the Master Agreement for the Pavement Marking
Demonstration Program;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the
City of Redlands does hereby approve Supplement No . 4 of the Master
Agreement No. 08-5083 between the City of Redlands and the State of
California for the Pavement Marking Demonstration Program.
ADOPTED, SIGNED AND APPROVED THIS 15th day of January, 1980,

Pursuant to the Federal Highway Safety Act, the attached
"Program" of Federal Aid Projects marked "Exhibit 8" is hereby
incorporated in that Master Agreement for the Federal-Aid Program
which was entered into between the above named LOCAL /:GF14CY and
the STATE on April 10 , 1979 , and is subject. to alf of
the terms and conditions t ereo .
The subject program is adopted in accordance with Paragraph 2
of Article Il. of the aforementioned agreement under authority of

Special Covenants or Remarks : 1 . The State will act as the Administrator for the project.
2. Initial pavement marking work is to be completed by October 1, 1980 . 3 . In awarding , or
agreeing to award the contract, the Local Agency agrees the payment of Federal Funds will be
limited to the detail estimate amount approved by the Federal Highway Administration in the
Federal-Aid Project Agreement (PR-2) , or its modification (PR-2A) , and accepts any increases in
Local Agency contribution . 4 . The City agrees to maintain the completed work during the two
year evaluation period.
