A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS ADOPTING
THE TWO YEAR CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM.
WHEREAS, San Bernardino County voters approved passage of Measure "I"
1990-2010 in November 1989 authorizing the San Bernardino Associated
Governments, acting as the San Bernardino County Transportation Authority (the
"Authority"), to impose a one-half of one percent retail transaction and use tax (the
"Tax") applicable in the incorporated and unincorporated territory of the County of San
Bernardino; and
WHEREAS, revenue from the Tax can only be used for transportation
improvement and traffic management programs authorized in the expenditure plans set
forth in Ordinance No. 89-1 of the Authority; and
WHEREAS, the expenditure plans of Ordinance No. 89-1 require each local
jurisdiction receiving revenue from the Tax to expend those funds pursuant to a Capital
Improvement Program and a Twenty Year Transportation Plan adopted by resolution of
the local jurisdiction; and
WHEREAS, the expenditure plans of Ordinance No. 89-1 also require that each
local jurisdiction annually adopt and update the Capital Improvement Plan; and
WHEREAS, the City of Redlands has developed a Two Year Capital
Improvement Program which outlines the specific projects upon which the City proposes
to expend funds received pursuant to it Measure "I" allocation;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Redlands that the Two Year Capital Improvement Program, in the form attached to this
resolution as Exhibit "A," is herby adopted.

meeting thereof held on the 7th day of October, 2008, by the following vote:
