RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS TO ACQUIRE
THE MENTONE DOMESTIC WATER COMPANY
RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Redlands ,
that it finds and declares that:
The public interest and necessity require the acquisition,
construction and completion by the City of Redlands of a
public improvement, namely, a water supply and distribution
system.
The public interest and necessity require the acquisition,
for and in connection with said public improvement, of the
real property or interests in real property situated in the
County of San Bernardino and described in Exhibit "A" attached
hereto and incorporated herein by reference .
Said proposed public improvement is planned and located
in a manner that will be most compatible with the greatest
public good and the least private injury; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by this Council that the City
Attorney of the City of Redlands be, and he is , hereby
authorized and directed to commence an action in the Superior
Court of the State of California for the County of San
Bernardino, in the name and on behalf of the City of Redlands,
against all owners and claimants of the said real property,
for the purposes of condemning and acquiring said property for

the use of said City.

hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was adopted by
the City Council of the City of Redlands at a regular meeting
