A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS, A CALIPORNIA MUNICIPALITY,
ASSUMING RESPONSIBILITY FOR THE ENFORCEMENT OF THE STATE MOBILE-
HOME PARKS ACT AID RELATED MATTERS
tEEREAS , the City of Redlands intends to become actively en-
gaged in the enforcement of the State of California Mobilehome
Parks Act; and
WHEREAS , Section MOO of the Health and Safety Code of the
State of California provides that any city may assume the respon-
sibility for enforcement of the Mobilehome Parks Act;
NOW, THEREPORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1: The City of Redlands does hereby assume respon-
sibility for enforcement of the California Health and Safety Code,
Division 13, Part 2. 1, and regulations adopted pursuant thereto
contained in the California Administrative Code, Title 25, Chap-
ter 5 .
Section 2: The Building and Safety Department of the City
of Redlands is designated and charged with the enforcement of said
code and related regulations .
Section 3: The effective date for assuming responsibility
for enforcing said code and related regulations shail be thirty-
five (35) days subsequent to the adoption of this resolution.
Section 4: The City clerk shall certify to the adoption of
this resolution. The City Clerk is directed to send two certified
copies of this resolution to the State of California Department of
Housing and Community Development.
ADOPTED, SIGNED AND APPROVED THIS 15th day of December, 1970.
