FIRST: That a regular :s iicipal election be, and the same is,
hereby called to be held in the City of Redlands, County of Can Bernardino,
State of California, on Tuesdsay, the 10th day of April, 1956, for the following
officers:
One City Clerk
One: City Treasurer
Two City Councilmen for the full term of four years.
,y'1,D ND- Each of said election officers named boing an elector and resident
of the consolidated voting precinct for which he or she is appointed. That each
election officer shr ll receives as compensation for all services performed as such
election officer the sum of '"10.00, which sum is hereby declared to be the just
compensation for said officers.
THT4D: The polls of said election shall be opened at 7 o'clock A.M. of
,said day and. be kept open until 'r o'clock Y.M. thereof, wheer, the polls shall be. closed.
FOLMLTH: That in all particulars not recited ir: thiq,ie:solution said election
shall be heli .-,md condu?:ted as provided by law for 'nol.di `regular municipal elections
in said City or Redlands.
L.L TH: That the C;ty Council. of said Cit; of Redlands shall meet and canvass
the returns of said election at the, regular meetir,,'s place of said Council or: the
17th day of April, 1956, at the hour of 7 o'clock P.N,
SIXTH: That the City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this resolution
by a vote of at least three-fifth of all the members of the said City Council of
the City of Redlands and of Its approval by the Mayor of said City, and shall cause
notice of such election to be published at least two times it 'the tiedl ands Daily Facts,
a newspaper of general circulation printed, published and circulated in ,saii.d. City of
Redlands, which newspaper is hereby desigrated for that prupose. And the said City
Clerk is also hereby directed to eve such other notice relating to said election
as is required by lawn.
