AREAS, a general municipal election was held and conducted in the City of
Redlands, on Tuesday, the 10th day of April, 1956, as required by
law,
AND iEREA S, it appears that notice of said election was duly and legally given,
that voting precincts were properly established, that election officers
were appointed and election supplies Drnished, and that in all respects
said election was held and conducted and the votes cart thereat received
and canvassed, and the returns thereof, ;Wade, determined and declared

AND SAS, the City Council of said City met at the Council. Chamber thereof
on `lVesday, the 17th day of April, 1956, at seven o'clock P.M., to
canvass the return: of said election; end vrhereas the Council finds
as a result of said canvass that the number of votes cast, the names
of the persons voted for, and other matters required by law, to be
hereinafter stated, now therefore it is hereby declared

RESOLVED and determined as follows
Treat said general municipal election was Yield and conducted in the City
of Redlands, on 'Vesday, the 10th day of April, 1956, in tis'ne, form
and manner as required by lax.
' That there were 20 voting precincts established in said City for the Pur-
pose of holding said election, numbered 1 to 20 inclusive, a consoli.-
dation of the regular election precincts 1 to 40, established for holding
state and county elections.
That the whole rm-tuber of votes cast in said City of Redlands at said

election was 3144

That the names of the persons voted for, the offices for which they
were voted, the number of votes received by each of said persons, in
each of said precincts, together with the whole number of votes which they-
received in the entire City, are as follows:

RESOLVED THEREFORE, that at said general municipal election held in the
City of Redlands April 10, 1956, the following persons were elected
to the following offices, respectively:
W RY E. kOL'DIAN was elected City Treasurer for the full term of
four years from and after Tuesday, April 10, 1956, and until his
successor is elected and qualified;
HARRY R. WHALEY was elected City Clerk for the full term of four years
from and after Tuesday, April. 10, 1956, and until his successor is
elected and qualified;
DONALD S.C. A--AIDERSOH was elected a member of the City Council for the
full term of four years from and after Tuesday, April 10, 1956, and
until his successor is elected and qualified;

G. NILSON was elected a member of the City Council for the full
term of four years from 2nd after Tuesday, April 10, 1956, and until
his successor is elected and qualified.

foregoing Resolution was adopted by the City Council of the City of Redlands
